The real me
No one gets to meet the real me.
Back in 1986, I was in a bicycle accident and ended up in Kingston general Hospital, in a coma.
Coma’s cause lasting damage after 48 hours.
I was out for 5 days. I am happy to be back.
Thing is, I ain’t the same guy as I was.
I came back with many, many social issues.
They wouldn’t be issues if there were no other people in my life, but look around. There are people everywhere.
One issue I have is what we have come to call Radical Honesty.
Therefore, I don’t speak out-loud much.

A few people have been sweet enough to like me for who I am.
Honesty is harsh when it’s about you.
We all have issues but I can see them and bring them to the forefront.
So, I have had to clench my teeth and control or word things, in a nice way in my head before spitting them out.
Most of the time while doing that, I lose my opportunity to make my comment.
So when you meet me.
I’m really not being me, so please accept my apologies, I wish it could have been another way.
